Where can I use my personal licence?
Your personal licence can be used to run a pub, hotel, guest house, wine bar, restaurant, off licence or supermarket. You can even use your personal licence to sell alcohol at a temporary event or online via the internet. However you must have a relevant premises licence or temporary event notice in force.
A personal licence will allow the holder to sell alcohol by retail or authorise the sale of alcohol by others. It will also allow the holder to be nominated on to a premises licence as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS).
What does a personal licence cost?
The cost of a full personal licence is £295 or if you just require the training course then the cost is just £180 including VAT.
If you require any further advice on obtaining a personal or premises licence, temporary event notices or selling alcohol online please do not hesitate to call us on 01242 222188.
