Professional Premise Licensing Application Service

We can provide a fully detailed licensing application service to all relevant authorities & responsible authorities outlining the required Licensing Objectives that are compliant under the 2003 Licensing Act. We can also prepare your scaled plan and liaise with any relevant responsible Authority on any issues that may be made raised against your application. Plans and Scale Drawings

The Licensing Act (2003) states that all new premises licence applications must be accompanied with a scale drawing of the premises indicating areas where alcohol is to be sold. All Plans need to be at a scale of 1:100. Other relevant details such as, fire exits, fire fighting equipment, fire codes and CCTV equipments must be shown on the drawing.

Change of use

We work closely with a network of architects who specialise in preparing change of use applications for restaurants public houses and licensed retail premises. We can assist on types of premises applications including A1, A3, and A5with or without the sale of alcohol by retail.

Food only business
Under the licensing Act 2003 hot food take-aways trading after 23.00 hours until 05.00 hours the following day also require a premises licence. The statement of licensing policy is required to be presented in a professional  manor. The food premises should also be registered with Environmental Health and the premises is required to keep records of suppliers, temperature checks, staff training, etc. All members of staff handling food should also have training in basic food hygiene.

Risk Assessments

Under the new Licensing Act (2003), the Designated Premises Supervisor is the person ultimately responsible for conducting Risk Assessment at licensed premises. New laws now mean if you employ over a certain level of people then you are required by law to carry out a Fire Risk Assessment and a Health & Safety Risk Assessment on a regular basis.

Licence Hearings and appeals

The Police will normally insist on the installation of Close Circuit Television to all new licensed premises.
