What the law states
To work behind a bar serving alcohol on the Shetland Islands, Scotland it is a mandatory requirement under the licensing(Scotland)Act that all members of staff receive a minimum of 2 hours training on 16 units of criteria from the licensing Act. This includes all members of staff whether they work full time, part time, paid or unpaid.

A record of staff training must be kept at the premise by all of Shetland's pub,bar, off licence and club managers to show when and how the training was delivered.
